In short
fx-alert.com is free and requires no account. We store only what is needed to deliver the alerts you set. We never sell your data, and we never send you anything except the alerts you asked for.
Who we are
fx-alert.com is operated by Batdorj Byambadorj, an independent developer based in Mongolia. Contact: support@fx-alert.com
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, payment details or trading account credentials. We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
What we store and why
- Your alerts: the symbol, line price(s), condition and timeframe, so our server can check them against live prices.
- Your notification channels: if you connect Telegram, your Telegram chat ID and, if you have one, your @username; if you enable browser notifications, the push subscription your browser gives us. These are used only to send your alerts.
- Delivery records: whether each alert reached each channel, shown in your alert History.
- Optional sign-in: if you sign in with Telegram, your alerts and channels are linked to your Telegram chat ID so you can use them on any device.
- Server logs: like any website, our web server records IP addresses and browser type for security and troubleshooting.
How long we keep it
- Active alerts expire after 30 days. Fired and expired alerts stay in your History for 30 days, then are deleted automatically.
- Paused alerts are deleted after 90 days.
- Notification channels are deleted automatically after 90 days without use, unless they are attached to an active alert.
- Sign-in sessions last 90 days. Sign-in and verification codes expire within minutes and are deleted automatically.
- Sign-in accounts are deleted automatically after 90 days of inactivity, once no alerts, channels or active sessions remain.
- Server logs are deleted after 14 days.
Stored in your browser
Your chart settings, drawn lines and a random device ID are kept in your browser's local storage, not on our servers (except lines that carry an alert). If you sign in, we set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Clearing your browser data removes all of these.
We do not use cookies or browser storage for advertising, analytics, or tracking, and the site loads no third-party tracking scripts. If that ever changes, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Country detection
When you open a page, our server looks up the country your IP address belongs to, using a GeoLite2 database stored on our own server. We use this for one purpose only: some pages are not permitted to be shown in certain countries, so we hide them there. The result is used during that single request and is never stored, never linked to you, and never used for advertising or analytics.

Services that handle data for us
- Hetzner (servers, Germany)
- Cloudflare (DNS and network security)
- Telegram (delivering Telegram alerts)
- Your browser's push service, such as Google, Apple or Mozilla (delivering browser notifications)
Each processes data only to provide its service.
Advertising
We do not show ads at present. If we introduce advertising (for example, Google AdSense), we will update this policy before doing so.
Partner broker links
Some links lead to our partner broker, Exness. If you open an account through them, we may receive a commission at no cost to you. Anything you share with the broker is governed by the broker's own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can delete any alert or notification channel at any time from the app, sign out, or clear your browser data. To have all data linked to your Telegram account deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, e-mail support@fx-alert.com. We respond within 30 days.
Children
This service is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
